Needham’s Fourth Of July 2018 Celebration

Looking for Fourth of July Plans? Come to Needham’s Two Day Celebration!

The Needham Fireworks will be held July 3rd. The Needham Exchange Club has organized this special event for many years in celebration of our country’s independence. This event will include fireworks, entertainment, food, and much more! On the 4th, the Needham Exchange Club will hold its annual Grand Parade.

Below is the celebration schedule, as noted on the Needham Exchange Club website:

TUESDAY – JULY 3RD

5:30 – 8:45 PM:  Food Tents Grilled Food, Soft Drinks, Ice Cream, and More
5:30 – 8:00 PM:  Children’s Entertainment – Pony Rides, Face Painting and More
7:00 – 9:15 PM: Concert: ‘Reminisants’ “Boston’s Best Oldies Band”
At Dark: FIREWORKS SPECTACULAR

WEDNESDAY – JULY 4TH

8:30 AM:  Annual YMCA 5K Road Race – Start at Library
8:45 AM:  Children’s Parade – Decorated Bikes and Costumes – Meet at Greene’s Field
9:00 AM:  Salute and Flag Raising – Town Common
9:05 AM:  Grand Parade – Bands, Floats, Musical Groups, Antique Cars and Much More
8:30 – 1:30 PM: Craft Fair and Flea Market
11:30 – 12:00 PM:  Children’s Pie Eating Contest
12:00 PM:  Children’s Races and Contests (at Football Field) – Running Events, Sack Races, Egg Toss
1:00 PM: Needham Little League Baseball Game
