League of Women Voters of Needham: Public Speaking Workshop for Women

Tina Packer, Founding Artistic Director of Shakespeare & Company, will be in Needham to provide a hands-on public-speaking workshop to empower women to improve their presentation skills to advocate in public for issues, run for public office (local, state, or national), or otherwise speak in front of audiences.

Space is limited to 25 participants and registration is required. Click here to register.

Public-speaking skills can be learned and improved, and effective advocacy often relies on these skills. Tina will share her experience from 40 years in acting and directing, and provide participants with useful knowledge and techniques designed to bolster speaking skills and build the courage needed to give effective presentations. There will be opportunities to practice these skills during the workshop.
