From the League of Women Voter’s of Needham website:

Nomination Papers for Town-wide Offices and Town Meeting Members are available in the Town Clerk’s Office for the Annual Town Election to be held on Tuesday, April 11, 2017. Candidates for Town-wide Offices must obtain at least 50 valid signatures of registered voters town wide and new Town Meeting Member candidates must obtain at least 10 valid signatures of registered voters in their precinct.

Tuesday, February 21 is the last day to file Nomination Papers for Town-wide Office and Town Meeting Member. Incumbent Town Meeting Members have received notice by mail for re-election which must be returned to the Town Clerk’s office by Tuesday, February 14, to be included on the ballot.
