Plugged in Band Hosts Needham’s Got Talent

There’s lots of talent hiding in Needham – but not for long! We’re very excited to announce Needham’s Got Talent, an entertaining fundraiser for Plugged In’s Capital Campaign. Join your friends and neighbors on Friday, May 13 at the Needham VFW Hall as they perform with the Plugged In House Band.

Check out all the performers that will grace the stage with their talents. More performer bios will be added as we confirm more performers!

Needham’s Got Talent is guaranteed to be a great time. You may even get to see another side of a friend or neighbor who you never knew could belt out a torch song, shred the guitar, or dance up a storm!

No youth bands will be performing.

PLUGGED IN / CAPITAL CAMPAIGN
Every parent wants to find a place where their children can
express themselves and be accepted for who they are. Plugged In is one of those places. It is a welcoming place where young musicians can express their creative side, be nurtured, and learn to give back to their community. Since 2002 Plugged In has been teaching youth how to be in a rock band, the importance of using their music to make positive change in the world, and instilling in them the confidence to do so.

We began our capital campaign in 2013. In March 2014 we purchased the property at 40 Freeman Place (Needham) and made significant renovations to create band and practice rooms. The campaign continues to raise funds for renovations to create better soundproofing, handicap accessibility, additional band rooms and a building maintenance fund.
