Registration for the 6th Annual High Rock-Pollard Middle School Parent Conference: Raising Resilient Adolescents: Tips & Strategies for the Middle School Years has been extended until FRIDAY, NOVEMBER 13th.

The FREE half-day conference at High Rock is sponsored by the High Rock-Pollard PTC, in partnership with Needham Public Schools, Needham Youth Services and Needham Coalition for Youth Substance Abuse, Prevention and Education.
In addition to Dr. Brooks, the conference features a workshop from Leslie Smart, Needham Public School METCO coordinator, who sheds light on the unique challenges adolescents of color face as they engage socially with their Needham peers, and advises local parents and caregivers on how to ease the way.
You’ll also find workshops on safe technology practices and substance abuse prevention from town youth wellness professionals Jon Mattleman and Carol Read; and sessions from nationally known authors, lecturers, behavioral health professionals and Needham educators on positive parenting; adolescent stress, anxiety and depression; and balancing academics, social and family life.
